I wanted a better modem but all factors considered I asked if I could do a swap. Also refused. It would be second hand, and would be difficult for them to resell. The modem costs $99.95 on a no lock-in contract (discounted to $59.95 if you take a 6 month contract) plus $15 delivery fee. The Internode modem is WiFi enabled for connecting wireless devices. If you choose to use your own modem, you will be able to use the NBN service but the NBN Phone service will not work on a third party modem.
