Tissue specific delivery of estrone-conjugated siRNAs. An estrone phosphoramidite, synthesized in a single step, was directly incorporated at the 5' ends of small interfering RNAs (siRNAs). The resulting estrone-conjugated siRNAs readily pass through cellular membranes and down-regulate the target protein, and show specific distributions in vivo.

Apr 18, 2012 · However, the most important attribute of F5-P–complexed siRNAs is their cell-specific delivery, which leads to concentration in the target tumor and avoidance of distribution to irrelevant normal tissues . Specific delivery into the intended target cell will likely reduce the dose required for antitumor activity as well as limit toxicity.Author: Yan-dan Yao, Tian-meng Sun, Song-yin Huang, Shuang Dou, Ling Lin, Jia-ning Chen, Jian-bin Ruan, Chen...
