Right click on your SMTP Virtual Server – Properties – Delivery tab. I changed my Delay notification from 12 hours to 18 hours, and the Expiration timeout from 2 days to 4 days. You will need to tweak these settings to what is appropriate for your particular environment.Author: Aseem Kishore

I can ping their mail server and I have spoken to the company's e-mail admin and they told me that they have no problems but all e-mail addressed to their domain from our server stays in our mail.box and eventually returns it to the sender with a Delivery Time Expired failure report.
