SMS delivery report on iOS. I have an iPhone SE with iOS 11.3.1 . If I send a normal SMS (that is one that does not require internet, the old SMS we had) using iMessage then no delivery report comes. This is not a network issue because Android or non smart phones do get delivery reports.

A very simple yet missing function of any iPhone model, is SMS delivery reports. Of course there is iMessage – it does have delivery reports. There is also WhatsApp (you really should be using this great app) supporting the same feature, or Viber. The question is about SMS delivery reports, & as provided: SMS delivery reports are a network feature, not a phone feature, so contact your carrier.
