Nope, no signs. Sorry. With both of my babies, my doctors (two different ones) were convinced I was going to deliver early because of the babies' growth, process, my dilation, etc. My son was 3 days late, and my daughter was induced 10 days late. My girlfriend had none of the "signs" I had and gave birth in her 37th week. No way of knowing. Sorry.

If you're experiencing any of the early labor symptoms outlined here, find a quiet place where you can lie down, relax, catch your breath, and prepare for next steps. While you're resting, drink a couple of glasses of water or juice. Dehydration often causes cramping and water can ease your symptoms.

The first signs of labor are well before delivery. Within a month of your due date, you may feel baby change positions to get ready for birth or experience Braxton Hicks contractions. Your cervix also will dilate and you may pass your "bloody show." When labor actually starts, you'll feel more intense contractions and your water will break.
