With Microsoft Outlook 2007, you can delay the delivery of one message, before sending, by selecting the Options tab, and in the More Options group on the Ribbon, select Delay Delivery. Nov 19, 2009 · Hi, I'd like to switch off the delayed delivery messages on our Exchange 2007 server. I've found the setting to up the standard 4 hour email to 48 hours however we've been asked to completely disable them. Can any one confirm that setting the send message when delayed to 0 hours will stop this or is there an alternative method Thanks Soops

Right click on your SMTP Virtual Server – Properties – Delivery tab. I changed my Delay notification from 12 hours to 18 hours, and the Expiration timeout from 2 days to 4 days. You will need to tweak these settings to what is appropriate for your particular environment.Author: Aseem Kishore
