Jul 30, 2013 · luckily we were able to restore the exchange server and it worked fine until this morning. all of a sudden all inbound messages started getting stuck in the "local delivery" queue. all outbound mail seems to pass through without a problem.

Some users were reporting that they were not getting messages that they were expecting so we checked and seen that there are some messages stuck in the Local Delivery queue in Exchange 2003.
