Mar 19, 2020 · Even though I use Exchange, unless Outlook was opened at the time the delay specified, the message would not deliver. If I waited past the delivery time to start Outlook, the message left the Outbox as soon as I started Outlook, but not before.

With Microsoft Outlook 2007, you can delay the delivery of one message, before sending, by selecting the Options tab, and in the More Options group on the Ribbon, select Delay Delivery.
