Mar 19, 2020 · After we upgraded our 2003 Outlook/Exchange versions to Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2007, the Delay Delivery option will not function for any of our users. The delayed message does go to the user's Outbox as it should, but the message remains there after the scheduled delivery time and never gets sent even if you open the message and try to manually send it.

May 12, 2011 · On a terminal server SB2003 with Outlook 2007 installed, the function "Delay delivery" stopped working from one day to another. It always worked fine and then without any warning or error it is just not working anymore. The option is available when sending or composing an Email, but it will just not send the damn mail on the set time or at any time.

Oct 27, 2010 · When you enable the Do not deliver before option to defer the delivery of a message, the message is deferred to the local Outbox, not to the server. Therefore, the message will not be delivered from the local .ost file unless Outlook is running when the message is scheduled to be delivered.
