Jan 15, 2013 · Tesco take £2 when you place the order (to check the card works, this is later refunded) then the full payment is taken on the day of delivery - usually a few hours before it arrives. Sainsburys are the same if I remember correctly, not sure about ASDA though. Hope that helps
