Asda were supposed to deliver an order between 10am and 12pm. We received a call at 11.15am from a driver saying they were running 30 minutes late and they would be with us asap.

The service is much better with Tesco than ASDA. ASDA sucks, but you do get that 10% price promise... EDIT: You get until 10pm the night before your delivery is due to amend. If you fail to check out they will still send the original order.

I have a few minutes before my grocery delivery is going to be late. I have somewhere to be which means if they are late I will be late as I still need to put shopping away before I leave. (Luckily dp is here so not a problem today though he was coming too but if her was'nt then it woukd be a problem).

Impossible to get off. ASDA home delivery is shite, and they rely on people either not checking or just not making a fuss if something is wrong. Which must be a pretty successful strategy because so many people don't have the time. Tried Ocado once - they were great but so much of it was damn pricey.
