Aug 31, 2009 · Destination scan means it arrived at the local UPS hub that it will be sorted at. The next thing u should see after its sorted and sent out is 'out for delivery'. You definitely can still see it today as long as it wasn't a next day air or early am delivery. Those have to arrive by 10am or 12pm anything else has until 5pm to arrive.

May 11, 2007 · See I'd understand if the "destination scan" was before it went out for delivery. BUT It went out for delivery yesterday and I never got it. Then later that night it shows a "departure scan" which to me looks like the package went backwards...

In the short, if it does not have an out for delivery scan then it isn't on a package car (or at least odds are against it). Which means it won't be delivered. It is far more likely for it to have an out for delivery scan and not be on a package car than the other way around. This also means you probably can not just go up there and pick it up.

Aug 14, 2015 · Out for Delivery means it is on the truck. Here in the states, if they miss a delivery (for example, because you're at work), then you can sometimes call up customer service and have them drop it off at a UPS store before the driver returns to the depot.
