Touro Infirmary is a stellar hospital in Uptown New Orleans. I've gone to Touro a few times as a patient. My experience was wonderful. Luckily, I visited today to give a lecture to the medical staff. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The hospital is clean. In my experience, that is sometimes not the case. A nice lunch was provided.

40 reviews of Touro Infirmary "Since Hurricane Katrina destroyed the great hospitals in New Orleans, Touro has become the place to go uptown. Not that it was bad before, but everyone went to Baptist (er, Memorial). Touro had great doctors and nurses. They recently treated my mother with pneumonia. She was in the hospital for 2 weeks and her care was excellent.
