244 helpful votes. 3. Re: Tel Shiloh. 5 years ago. Save. You can certainly visit on your own. An Israeli rental car can drive there. Be sure to see the movie which brings the site to life. You need at least 1.5 hours, as there is alot of walking and things to see (including the movie).
