Nov 2018 • Friends. Stewart park is such a nice park. It’s free! There are tennis courts, a walking trail, play structures for the kids as well as a sprinkler! Most of the summer the carousel is up and running for a small fee. There are picnic tables and grills for bar-b-q’s.

The Stewart Park Carousel is open in the summer Memorial Day weekend through the first week of September, Wednesday - Sunday and on holidays. Hours are 11-6:45, rides are 75 cents each.

The actual process of painting the horses is laborious. Sobel and John estimate each horse has taken about 8–12 hours to paint, not including time spent priming the horses.
