I can't tell whether this means that the server has queued the message because of some issue with my sendmail, or if the message was sent to the target address, but the target address server has not processed the message.

The SMTP client's task is ended when the SMTP protocol exchange is completed, and the SMTP server says "OK, I've got it and I'll take it from here.". When i try to send mail i receive "Transient parse error" I have several HPUX servers where i configure the mail. I don't use DNS so I use the /etc/hosts file to make the name resolution.

Re: stat=Sent (Message received and queued) The message was accepted by can.telenor.net. and this server should be responsable of delivering the mail. If you have control over can.telenor.net. check the mail log of this server.
