Secondly, it is not a network issue or a bug to not receive delivery report for SMS on iPhone as Apple never provided such service (as far as i know). Moreover there is no alternative app to deal with SMS and delivery report on iOS (while it is possible on Android OS).

I searched for it in all kind of settings and forums but all I see is the option for iMessage. but not for SMS. The most basic phones have it for decades now but what about iPhones? SMS - text message isn't an Apple or iPhone feature.

The Iphone 4 does NOT support SMS delivery reports and that is the problem not VF. Other networks have an older technology in place that allows you to add a prefix to a number and get a delviery report that way but VF does not have that facility.

Mar 01, 2012 · 1st type in SMS delivery reports on the app search and chose which one best suits your needs. There is quite a few to chose from. 2nd if you type in *0# then a space then your message it will create a delivery report for your text message. This code works with O2, Orange & Vodafone. Not sure about Three. You could give it a try.
