Sep 28, 2017 · Am I correct in understanding that it is not possible to receive a 'delivery report' for SMS/text messages (NOT iMessage or email) on the iPhone? Or is there a workaround? I have had this feature on all my other (non-Apple) phones - right from simple feature phones to other advanced smartphones (Android/Windows).

Secondly, it is not a network issue or a bug to not receive delivery report for SMS on iPhone as Apple never provided such service (as far as i know). Moreover there is no alternative app to deal with SMS and delivery report on iOS (while it is possible on Android OS).

Feb 22, 2010 · I had delivery confirmation on my BB curve but then future updates removed it (not sure why). But anyways I would love to have delivery confirmation so that I know for sure they got the text. Sometimes network congestion on either end will result in a failure to deliver or a log delay for delivery.
