In this paper, a sediment delivery distributed (SEDD) model applicable at morphological unit scale, into which a basin is divided, is initially proposed. The model is based on the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE), in which different expressions of the erosivity and topographic factors are considered, coupled with a relationship for evaluating the sediment delivery ratio of each morphological unit.

The Sediment Delivery Distributed (SEDD) model is an empirical soil erosion model based on the concept of Revised Universal Soil Loess Equation (RUSLE) model (Ferro and Minacapilli, 1995; Ferro ...

A distributed parameter sediment delivery model has been derived from basic-principles and linked with a personal computer-based, low cost, geographic information system (GIS) to facilitate preparation, examination and analysis of spatially distributed input parameters as well as to link the sediment delivery from a micro-scale to the drainage

The aim of the paper is to validate the sediment delivery distributed (SEDD) model for estimating hillslope sediment yield estimates using net soil erosion values obtained by the cesium-137 technique. The cesium-137 technique provides spatially-distributed measurements useful to verify the predictive capability of a distributed sediment yield model.

Jan 15, 2020 · The performance of the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) as the most widely used soil erosion model is a challenging issue. Accordingly, the objective of this study is investigating the estimated sediment delivery by the RUSLE method and Sediment Delivery Distributed (SEDD) model.Author: Mohammad Saeid Mirakhorlo, Majid Rahimzadegan

The simplest road models generally consider inputs from surface erosion only, and model the delivery of sediment by a sediment delivery ratio (SDR)-like approach. Unlike a traditional catchment-scale SDR approach, the ratio of sediment delivery to a stream to the total sediment generated from a road feature is defined here as SDR R-S. Moderately complex road models usually consider cutslopes as sediment …Author: Baihua Fu, Lachlan T. H. Newham, C. E. Ramos-Scharrón
