You need to Final confirm (CNF) the Order to get the DLV Status. Or if the Delivery completed indicator is set in the Process Order, then also th System status will be DLV If your order quantity10 and you produced 10 quantity it means that order is fully deliver then Final delivery will automatically be set.1/5

The issue is, MM team has defined tolerance limits and set DEL automatically for the plant. But this is affecting the process order as well. The DLV indicator is set automatically when the GR is within the upper tolerance limit. Business want to have the delivery completed set, manually for the process order but the control is at plant level.2/5

The logic for setting the indicator 'Final delivery' and DLV status is as follows (no matter it is processing with online transactions or BAPI): You post a confirmation for a production order / process order. A goods receipt is linked to the confirmation. During GR posting during the confirmation process, a quantity check is executed.

Whether for a production/process order has been delivered with partial/full qty can be identified by DLV status. If the delivery happens partially then the PDLV will be activated. It is not always that when the total order qty is confirmed then only the DLV will be activated. This depends on under delivery and over delivery tolerance also.
