I noticed today after having to enter my passcode multiple times on my iPhone (white 4S 32gb) that the 4-hour option for require passcode is no longer there (which I had it set at). I even restarted the phone.

Sep 24, 2013 · Go into 'fingerprints', flip off the "passcode unlock" toggle and bingo. There's the full range of delay times back again. Interesting you can leave fingerprints *on* for iTunes, etc., while disabling for passcode lock. I may make that choice and stick with my old 4 hour option.

It could be that you simply need to enter your passcode every 48 hours to verify that you, the owner, are still in possession of the device. Seems silly and contrived, but I dunno.
