The water was amazingly warm, and the docks and cliffs made for great lounging and terrific jumps. Law enforcement rolling through to check for alcohol and drugs was a bit of a buzz kill, but I had my beverage in a plastic cup and wasn't hassled.

While the opening was delayed this year, the FRP-LaGrange Quarry is now open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm. Admission is $20/person. In a weird summer when many pools are still closed, this crystal clear water is a welcome sight.
