CITRON – Citrus medica ‘Assads’ (Kosher Etrog) – Fragrant lemon-like fruit with thick peel is used for the Jewish Feast of the Tabernacles (Sukhot). ‘Assads’ is a selection from Morocco dating back at least 2000 years.
