For this, I have used Postfix MTA with Cyrus. All things working fine except one thing, the sending speed is too slow. It is sending around 1 mail per 5 seconds (approx). I have spent 4-5 days already for finding the issue, but not found any solution. There is no problem in my maillog file My Maillog File:

As lists get larger, Postfix delivery with out-of-the box configuration really slows down. The bottlenecks I've found are queue length and number of SMTP processes, both of which default to values too small for large lists. I began noticing pretty severe rate limiting at about 10,000 deliveries on a list.

Hi, Ive a postfix server which is used to relay emails to an external smtp server, this was done to prevent the receiving smtp server from being flooeded by to many messages per hour which i did by using the debug command and a sleep 6, in addition to this i added a transport map to slow down delivery even more for certain hosts/recipient domains:
