The Botanical Gardens in Oslo are absolutely beautiful and should not be missed. Admission is free, and you can get there from any of the T-bane lines. (Grønland stop, and then just follow the signs!) Walking could take 20-30 minutes from around Oslo S. The gardens were even larger than we expected and were full of plants from all over the place.
