I am trying to see what the definition of Core Hours means at OPM. I was told that the core hours are 9 to 330 at my job and for these hours I MUST be in the office. I need to know if this is true because I would like to work 630 to 300 but was told, yes I can start at 630 but need to take an hour lunch because I cannot leave before 330.
