"Out for delivery" means the parcel has been scanned and loaded and out for delivery that day, Unless, by some chance, it was loaded on the wrong delivery vehicle, you should receive it that day. At UPS, we had a driver or supervisor come out to get the misloaded parcels and get them to the proper driver.
