I check their website, says they deliver to residences until 7pm. So it's after 7 pm, and I call them. They say, no, we dont stop at 7, they keep delivering until they deliver all the packages.

The supervisor if he is worth a shit will sometimes try and get another package car out there to lighten up the over burdoned package car.

There is a chance they will put it in your mailbox instead of place it in front of your door. The time range you will receive it after it said out for delivery is anytime from morning to 8pm.

The USPS is quite out of hand! It's getting ridiculous. When your package is Out for Delivery by 8pm and it doesn't show, is it REALLY hard to changed the status to the next day?! I've had packages be out for delivery by 8pm, not show up, then I lock up. Not 10 minutes later (after I lock up of course) my tracking updates, "Could not be delivered.
