Sep 11, 2021 · Very nice vellum leaf from a French Book of Hours, written in a regular Gothic bookhand in Paris, around 1450. The leaf has a panel border on the verso with pasted on gold leaves, flowers and fruit in bright colours. The text is written in black ink, the rubrics are in red. There is a large initials with a pretty painting of flowers inside on a gold back ground.
