The visiting hours in general are: 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. For visiting outside these hours, in the case of critically ill patients or in exceptional circumstances, the agreement of the nurse manager on duty must be sought.

STRICT visiting restrictions have been imposed at Naas General Hospital as a number of patients have exhibited symptoms similar to those of the Norovirus. In place since Thursday 27 December, the restrictions apply to the Allen, Curragh, Moate and Liffey wards at the hospital.
Naas General Hospital serves the catchment area of Kildare and West Wicklow, an area with rapidly growing population. It is located within walking distance of the centre of Naas Town. The hospital currently has 243 patient beds which include 18 day service beds. An important aspect of the hospital’s role is the provision of a 24-hour Emergency Department.
