How can I tweak this to allow unlimited (or at least 100 per batch) connections? What setting do I need to add/tweak/remove? Many thanks!

May 26, 2009 · Hello, I have found this in FAQ Section of Exim. Hope this helps. "A remote MTA sent a number of messages in a single SMTP session. Exim limits the number of immediate delivery processes it creates as a result of a single SMTP connection, in order to avoid creating a zillion processes on systems that can have many incoming connections.

Sorry but I do not agree. The purpose of the connection pool is to give back to the program a connection already available. If you force a connection to be removed from the pool I think that the only benefit is a decrease in performance not a better handling of the not closed connections I think it is like curing the symptoms not the cause.
