Jul 11, 2010 · All the features on the SBS box work, except outbound email, the problem message here is “SMTP: message routed and queued for remote delivery”, but delivery never occurs. I need help configuring the server to allow outgoing email. Again, the problem is not receiving email, but sending it. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

Oct 26, 2011 · The Exchange server seats behind router in a DMZ. The local users can send and receive messages with no issues. Sending email to external servers is not possible. I managed to find the email queue on the server and enabled message tracking. The last status of the unsent messages on the server is: "Message routed and queued for remote delivery".
