May 15, 2014 · I'm running an Exchange 2010 SP3 on a Server 2008R2 VM. I came into work this morning and Exchange is extremely slow and almost unresponsive. It took over 20 minutes for my folders to sync this morning when it normally takes 5-10 seconds.When I sent a test message to myself it sat on "sending 1 of 1" for almost 5 minutes.

Currently have Exchange 2007 which is working fine and we are in the final stages of testing exchange 2010, but can’t get past this intermittent issue of email randomly getting stuck in the mapidelivery queue.

hello experts i have a Exchange 2007 server running mailbox, client access and hub tranport roles on same box, today it having problem send and receive internal emails, i found lots of email stuck in mapidelivery queue and even could not being cleared.

Run repadmin /syncall /AdeP on your domain controllers if this happens before you are doing a ton of other stuff and give it a good few minutes afterwards. Be sure to run this command on all your domain controllers to. Additionally if you run on your DCs do it in order one by one, then reverse and run the command in reverse order to ensure you run on each DC twice.
