Oct 30, 2020 · 20-hour requirement for volunteer firefighters has been extended for 6 (six) months until June 30, 2021. This will be for 2020 training ONLY. Starting July 1, 2021 training will be counted on a fiscal year, same as State Aid. The required 100 hours of training in a calendar year has been reduced to 70 (seventy) hours for 2020 ONLY.
