3 Hour Kayak Tour $90. The three hour tour covers six miles and is designed as an active kayak tour. The morning is the best time to venture out of the harbour for a tour of Victoria’s coastline and nearby islands because the wind is typically at its lightest. July through September is Pupping Season when we have the chance to see female harbour seals caring for their young.

But for my money, the BEST way is to book a kayak tour with Kelp Reef. Run by a lovely, extremely knowledgeable couple named Brad and Katharine, the company has just 3 guides (I think) who all have extensive knowledge of the area.

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm ladies pay only $29.50 for our two hour evening tour. We provide everything from jackets to spray skirts and dry bags to cameras, plus awesome instruction from Thom.

Brandon was great. Very knowledgeable and easy going. We were blessed to see the first Harbor seal pup of the season - was only a couple hours old. thanks to Brandon’s expertise we didn’t paddle on by and miss the pup hiding in the kelp. Would book with Kelp Reef Adventures again and again. Thank you Brandon for a memorable adventure!
