Jagged lines & textures are inevitable in 1080p monitors like mine, but, I believe there's a way to make it look a bit better. The ground textures, taxiway linings, edges of buildings, static objects, aircrafts, everything looks jaggy but the one that really gets me …

Note: After connecting the computer using the onboard, the games continued with jagged edges and oscillating. This is the most telling. This means if it is not supposed to be that way, then there is an issue with the hardware.

Try edge trailing instead of edge leading. Might do the trick for you. As pointed out earlier, you're running the edge over the corners of the stone. Go to the getting place, buy a 2 dollar chef knife, and practice until you get a feel for the angles and pressures. If you can get a smooth, even edge on cheao, gummy, Chinese stainless, you're on ...

SMAA is a great, cheap method for removing jagged edges and is higher-quality than something like FXAA but on my 1080p monitor it gives the game this noticeable blur to its environment. In fact, from what I've seen on this subreddit a fair few people find SMAA is too jagged and SMAA t2x far too blurry. It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb but ...

If you are bothered by jagged edges, lack of anti aliasing and see no effect by forcing it through Nvidia Control Center, I have a solution for you. Support Go to Nvidia Control Center, and this time, instead of forcing AA settings, activate Dynamic Super Resolution 1.20x and 1.50x.

TIL You can actually increase the TAA sharpness beyond what the slider allows. Discussion/Question. By going into Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings and editing "settings.xml" you can set the sharpening to 2 (maybe even higher) (max is 1 by default), then set it as read only and it will actually work! 35 comments. 91% Upvoted.

It is not along the UV Edge it is on the surface in the middle and you can see it on the Model when I apply the texture, which is the problem. I am also now noticing the jagged edges on other parts of the mesh, mainly the planes with an objects on it as you see the photo above. I'm not sure what you mean by "padding around the edges".

Anti-Aliasing (AA) improves image quality by reducing jagged edges from textures. Applying AA can make an image look smoother and softer, at the expense of lowering FPS. In the example below, the image on the left has AA applied. The image on the right has no AA applied and has more jagged edges.
