J Made Loom Inquiry. Hello Weaver Friends! I have recently become the owner of a "new-to-me" J Made Loom. It is so beautiful black walnut 12 Shaft, 14 Treadle Loom. 60" weaving width. Double back beam-one sectional one regular. (photo attached) The cloth beam and the back beams have "worm gear" tension. I am completely excited about this feature.

This is a 4 shaft, 6 treadle jack loom. J-made looms are quite highly regarded. Pricing of looms is incredibly regional. In some areas, this would sell for $400. In others, you could get $1200. Its a supply and demand thing. For ideas, you can look on the Craigslists in towns near you.
