    May 17, 2008 · Well my first son came in just 4 hours. I had the first signs of early labor, was dilated to 2 - then wham! Less than 4 hours later he was here. I live in a rural area and am worried I won't make it to help - the nearest hospital is over 1 hour away. Just wondering if you can offer any advice, reassurance, or what your second labor was like.
