I don't think that there is a hard and fast rule about the amount, but I usually give $10 (all to one guy or $5 each to two guys...never had more than two guys deliver something to me). I would only tip if I thought the service was good. So if nothings broken and they were polite then tip them.

Apr 07, 2020 · The store we purchase from (Nebraska Furniture Mart) farms out their delivery services so the delivery fee does indeed go to the delivery guys. It was explained to us when we had to refuse a couch delivery (couldn't get it in the door). NFM even has a FAQ on their website about not tipping.

Unless the delivery site (usually any food delivery) specifically states that the delivery fee isn't used as tip, in that case I do tip. I just figure that they weren't working for tips- they do get a paid wage, and tip is just extra. And in all honesty, I usually forget anyway.
