Mar 17, 2018 · Dell produces your machine on demand (in Asia of course) and then has to ship it (either by plane or boat - by boat takes weeks, plane is ca 1 week). In my experience their estimated delivery dates are correct (as in on or before).

Dell delivery estimates (self.Dell) submitted 5 years ago by murphinator. I ordered a xps 12 a couple of days ago and before I ordered I enquired about how long it would take to be delivered. I was told 10-12 days but as soon as I ordered a paid I get an estimated delivery date of the 23rd of August.
