Oct 22, 2012 · i used to like that feature on my android phone,it was a network feature with 3 mobile,as soon as a text was delivered i got a text informing me,they started to charge for the service after a while,theres nothing on iPhone 4s or 5 to enable it though.

I have an iPhone SE with iOS 11.3.1 . If I send a normal SMS (that is one that does not require internet, the old SMS we had) using iMessage then no delivery report comes. This is not a network issue because Android or non smart phones do get delivery reports. As far as I have read, there is no way to turn on this feature on iMessage for normal ...

My daughter has an iphone 4s that we purchased several months ago. Cellphone to cellphone text messages seem to work fine on her phone. Automated texts including ones to allow mobile banking, texts to notify her that the college washing machines are available, and texts that inform her that her prescription is ready (CVS) do not come through.
