With my miscarriages, my levels didn’t even double, but with my healthy pregnancies, my HCG levels tripled as well! #9 Feronia, Jul 29, 2014. _jellybean_ Well-Known Member. Joined: Jun 28, 2011 Messages: 10,609 Likes Received: 0. That's great news. Hcg levels can be one indicator of a strong pregnancy. I was bleeding/spotting with my son ...

In many early pregnancies, the hCG level will double every 31 to 72 hours. As the pregnancy progresses, hCG levels rise and the doubling time increases. In a study of 20 patients in the first 40 days of pregnancy, the hCG concentration rose by at least 66 percent every 48 hours in 85 percent of viable IUPs; but still, 15 percent of viable pregnancies had a rate of hCG rise less than this threshold.

From there, your doctor will look to see how the hCG level changes over time in subsequent blood tests. In the first 4 weeks of a viable pregnancy, …

I had my hCG levels tested last Weds and Fri, exactly 48 hours apart. On Weds (at 4w1d), it was 84. On Fri (4w3d), it was 266. That's MORE than trippling. The nurse who called me with the results didn't give any indication to be concerned- she said the pregnancy is progressing very well. My first u/s will be next Tuesday.

Quadrupled HCG levels in 72 hours? melissa94 Good morning girls, some of you may know that I posted a question a few days ago about normal HCG levels, to run through the scenario quickly, Monday night had a Beta test, resulted at 240, today, Thursday morning, I went for another and it came back at 966, that's four times in 72 hours, is that normal?

I know exactly how you feel. My first HCG level was 205. Forty-eight hours later, it was 1123 (generally, HCG levels double every 48-72 hours in early pregnancy, so this is really high). I talked to my Dr and she said to come in for an ultrasound next week to rule out multiples. Might want to look into this.

this multiple talk is scary. My 4 week beta went from 35 to 135 in 48 hours.... TTC #3 with PCOS. Long cycles, ovulate about 4-5 times a year Married 6/9/07 DS 7/15/08 Met RE 12/08 DD 6/2/10. Your HCG levels are not "abnormal" or crazy high. HCG levels can very a lot.
