Jun 2021 • Family. $5 per car (including passengers) - best deal in Connecticut. The ferry service is 200 years old and interesting. Make sure to take it from Chester to go see the Gillette Castle. It is at most a 7 minute wait for the ferry because it only goes back and forth across the river from Chester to Hadlyme (about a 5 minute ride).
