Patients at the Gilbert Bain hospital will only be allowed visitors for two hours each day. NHS Shetland has said that visiting times will be restricted to 3-4pm and 7-8pm daily, and each patient will be asked only to have “a maximum of two visitors at a time”. To access the ward from the Gilbert Bain Hospital entrance follow the signs to Ward 3. Visiting times on the ward are from 3pm-5pm & 6pm-8pm. Protected mealtimes are between 5pm-6pm. If visitors are required to assit with feeding please contact the Ward to arrange.
