Oct 31, 2004 · @Anxelbla: Yes the A340-300 is still in production, although new production models are now the -300E nhanced, the first of this slightly updated variant is due to be delivered to South African Airways shortly. No planes to stop production. Remember the A340-300 and A340-500/600 serve different market segments (size/payload/range).
