Apr 29, 2010 · Take a look at Chris' suggestion, if you use an SMTP relay for incoming email then the limit may be being imposed by them, look at your MX records for your domain and see if they are pointing directly at your Exchange server or whether there is something else in the middle (ISP/Spam filter/firewall/gateway, all can be checking incoming emails and applying there own attachment size …

Upon creating an SMTP connector to try to restrict the sending of internet email, I find that the Delivery Restrictions tab will not pull Security Groups into its lookup for adding exceptions to it. My available objects are "Users" and "Other Objects," and the Check Name will not bring up any group names.

May 18, 2011 · Under this Delivery Restrictions option (tab) which is located under the properties of the SMTP Connector, we choose "By default, messages from everyone are: Accepted" and at the bottom, we choose "Reject messages from: ...." and in there we add the DG of all the groups except the one for which the SMTP Connector is created.
