HI folks, im expecting a delivery of a large tv today via parcelforce (i know, i still dont trust them). Anyway it was sent friday via parcelforce 24 and apparently they dont deliver saturdays so ive just checked the tracking code and its due to be delivered today but the only thing on the tracking page is "sorted in hub" which was done on friday night.

May 04, 2010 · short answer, yes you should expect to pay vat at 17.5% of £46.99. no duty as the value is too little. the tracking is showing the different stages of clearance through coventry international postal hub where all customs clearance is done for postal imports. the 'en route' bit says its on way to your local parcel force depot.
