Aug 16, 2012 · I was working on an SBS 2003 server that had e-mails for one user that would not deliver. They were stuck in the Local Delivery Queue in Exchange 2003 in a retry state. I tried to force connection, but they would never budge.

Feb 13, 2011 · (We can't uninstall 2003 yet because of some mailboxes/apps that need Exchange 2003 server) Took down the Public Folder Store on the Exchange 2003 server (dismounted) Now there are mails getting stuck (some) in the Exchange 2003 Local Delivery queue for what seems mail enabled public folders (that are on the Exchange 2010 server).

Some users were reporting that they were not getting messages that they were expecting so we checked and seen that there are some messages stuck in the Local Delivery queue in Exchange 2003. The emails are mostly from internal users sending to other internal users however there are a few external emails that are stuck in there also.

Dec 17, 2011 · all email is stuck in queue on exchange 2010. Everything has been working fine but, last night @ 9pm all email stopped. I can still connect to exchange both with outlook client and OWA. But, email not flowing. This is internal and external email. I am in still in co-exisit mode with 2003. rebooted both servers still down. HELP!!!
