We came to Dieu du Ciel! on our first night in Montreal to have a few beers and snack away. Upon arrival it was very tough to find a seat, however we managed to sneak in at the bar. We went apparently unnoticed for quite sometime before the bartender approached us for service. Thankfully, we sat down beside the Assistant Brewer, Rebecca.

The Dieu du Ciel brewpub in Montreal is easily one of my favourite places in all of Montreal. I would regard this as one of the "must visit" places to see while in city, alongside Schwartz's and Fairmount Bagel (a block away from the brewery).

Dieu du Ciel and Unibroue are the best known breweries from Montreal, but Unibroue is not open for visits. They have a long list of beers on tap on a large chalkboard. There is not a lot of info though, so if you are not familiar with their beer, it may be a challenge to order, even if the waitstaff is patient enough to answer your questions.
