I have been to quite a few kids birthdays and company picnics here and have always had a blast (though I wouldn't attempt it in August). You don't even realize how huge this place is until you drive in since it is surrounded by residential communities. There are so many things to do here.

The sign posted says the hours during those months are from 10 - 6 PM, however they have closed as early as 4 PM with no provided information. Today we came for the FIFTH time, to witness the gates closing at 4:25 and another large family leaving, visibly upset.

I took my grandchildren to Desert Breeze Park. They loved the train! It was a great View at the park. I do recommend getting the $9 wristbands for the all you can ride pass. This gives you access to the Carousel and the train. A 4 year old and an 8 year old had a wonderful day. It was well worth it and a beautiful Park.
